My Brother, My Brother, and Curt Dunning

Curt Dunning guest posts at The Long Game about the new hit phenomena that is My Brother, My Brother, and Me.

Today, TV Personality Curt Dunning guest posts at The Long Game.

Today’s guest post is by noted television personality Curt Dunning:

Hello, my name is Curt Dunning.

You may know me as Stan Brigham of the hit TV show Brigham Here.

On my hit show, I can be found on the boardwalk, chasing down truant ruffians. Or perhaps I’m removing a brain tumor from my neighbor’s cat, Pooky. I might even be bargaining with that darn leprechaun, again.

But when I’m not bringing in another regional Golden Globe, I’m listening to My Brother, My Brother and Me. Each week, Justin, Travis, and Griffin give you the final word on what you should do, where you should go and what you should think.

The brothers McElroy are who I turn to when I’m stuck on a difficult problem. For instance:

  • Should I enter a co-leasing agreement with Geraldine the Witch before she curses my soul and casts me into the Silent Hell? (Answer: Yes, but your realtor and a religious official must be present at the signing)
  • What about Dave Coulier? Should I dig him out of the root cellar and return him to the cast of Full House in time for the 25th year reunion? (Answer: Absolutely not)

Life is hard, but the brothers McElroy make it look easy. I know that when I return to the studio this Fall, I’ll have lots of questions that demand thoughtful answers.

When special guest star Lisa Kudrow begs me to remove the spider nest from her dressing room mirror, I’ll know who to call. Should I remove it? Perhaps. But it’s the spider nest or the feral cave-bats, not both.

Sincerest wishes for the coming season,
Curt Dunning

Note: The prior version of this post featured a different spelling of the brothers McElroy. The original Mackelroy spelling is an Ellis Island-style modification referring to the brothers’ native Gypsy heritage.
